2011 Iowa: NASCAR Truck Fina,Review

Rookie Cole Whitt topped the speed charts in Friday night’s rain-shortened final Happy Hour practice round for the Coca-Cola 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa Speedway.

Coming into Saturday night’s race, Johnny Sauter leads the 2011 Iowa: NASCAR Truck Fina points race by 23 points over Whitt and 25 over Dillon.
All three of NASCAR’s touring series are in action this weekend as the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series head to New Hampshire while Camping World Truck Series teams visit Iowa Speedway for race number eleven on their 2011 schedule.

Johnny Sauter continues to reign in the Truck Series point battle.
Final practice for Nationwide cars begins at 1:40 p.m. with Sprint Cup qualifying at 3:10 p.m. Catch it live on SPEED.
Rarely lacking in confidence, Austin Dillon is raring to get to Iowa Speedway for Saturday night's Camping World Truck Series race.
Dillon, lest anyone need reminding, notched his first Trucks win last year at Iowa, a .875-mile track.

Dillon used the momentum of that run, and a second victory last September at Las Vegas, to finish fifth in points and take top rookie honors.
Dillon has also run ARCA and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races at Iowa. Any place you run well you love going to and love racing there."
In addition to wanting another Iowa win, Dillon wants to make a run at the Trucks title. I'm not happy with our finishes," Dillon said.
I love this weekend. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series holds a special place in my heart. In four days, we watched the Cup series and IROC cars at IMS.

NASCAR veteran Brendan Gaughan will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Iowa Speedway this weekend.

Gaughan has met the lively Iowa Speedway fans twice before, racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. However, this will be his first Truck Series event at the track built by longtime friend Rusty Wallace.

“Iowa Speedway is a beautiful facility. “I’ve had good race cars there.
