Leading women survive Wimbledon 2011
Wimbledon (AFP) .- Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki advanced to the "Big 16" women's singles tennis tournament series Grand Slam Wimbledon 2011 after the victory over their opponents on the game at the tennis courts at Wimbledon, Saturday.
While top-seeded Wozniacki 6-3, 6-2 win over Jarmila Gajdosova.
On the "Big 16" Wozniacki will meet Slovakian tennis player, Dominika Cibulkova, who beat 16th seed, Julia Goerges 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
In a match that took place on Friday (06/24/2011) night, Wozniacki win in straight sets over Virginie Razanno with 6-1 and 6-3. Danish top seed was even just took him 66 minutes to step into the third round.
Meanwhile in the other match, Sharapova had to go through hard struggle before stepping into the third round.
